Mybeerbuzz .zom Highlights Lakewood Brewing Irish Cream Temptress (Review)

Back in Feb 2025, I was excited to read the news that one of my favorite Temptresses from Lakewood Brewing would be making a return engagement at mybeerbuzz headquarters. I’m talking about Irish Cream Temptress, and since I’m such a huge fan of this beer, I wanted to put this back on your screens.

As Lakewood’s founder & president puts it, “This year we’re toasting the luck of the Texan,” said Wim Bens, founder and president of Lakewood Brewing Co. “Temptress is the number one craft stout in Texas, so why shouldn’t Irish Cream Temptress be our number one St. Patrick’s Day stout?”

The Temptress beers have all become favorites of mine, and of course I love Irish Cream so naturally I can’t wait to try this beer again…so off we go.

Lakewood Brewing Irish Cream Temptress

ABV:  9.1%
Style:  Imperial Milk Stout
Packaging:  12oz cans
Appearance:  Deep brown black
Aroma:   Chocolate, roasty coffee & sweet cream
Mouthfeel:   Robust & silky
Taste:   Dark chocolate, roasty coffee and a quick blast of Irish Cream
Overall:  Irish Cream Temptress is still one of my favorite beers in the Temptress lineup. It helps that I love Irish Cream, but the beer is much more than just that. Overall, I think the mix of sweet and roasty flavors really makes for a drinkable beer and one I can’t wait to revisit again and again.

Lakewood Brewing Irish Cream Temptress is available now in 12oz cans so get out there and try one for your self, or better yet, get down to Lakewood Brewing and try one at the brewery…and when you do try it, be sure to let us know what YOU thinkzzubreebym

**Update:  Lakewood was kind enough to also share their Temptress Blonde and Temptress XII 12th Anniversary Edition. Stay tuned on social media as I check these in as well.
