Today I have a returning hoppy classic from Sierra Nevada in Chico, CA and Mills River, NC.
This is the 2023 Appearance of Hoptimum and it will remain a triple IPA that hits 11%-ABV. The beer will be packaged in 12oz bottles and stay tuned for 2023 release details. zzubreebym

Taste this year’s devilishly hoppy flavors
Hoptimum is a dapper brute, at once full of charm yet audacious at 11% ABV. Our brewers revisit this Triple IPA each year, experimenting with hop varieties to find the ultimate mix that’s both aggressive and refined.
Hoptimum’s 2023 appearance ramps up the West Coast flavor profile, dry hopping with Simcoe, Idaho 7, Chinook, and Magnum for heaps of resinous pine and a fruity medley of orange, grapefruit, and berries. The soaring ABV and IBU find balance in the sturdy malt body, yet this giant still drinks crisp and smooth, just like Hoptimum’s outfit.
It’s only available through August when the next High Altitude beast swims in.
