Today I bring you several new variants of an ever popular beer from Surly Brewing in Brooklyn Center & Minneapolis, MN. This is Darkness and today I have imperial stout variants that are aged in Rum barrels with robust and Arabaca coffee, vanilla bean and coconut; Rye barrel aged with cacao and vanilla beans and Bourbon barrel-aged with vanilla beans, cinnamon, chiles and chocolate. All of these variants will hit 12%-AbV and if that’s not enough fun, these beer sill also now be packaged in 16oz cans! Stay tuned for release info.
