This morning I have the latest packaging for a returning beer from Allagash Brewing in Portland, ME. This is Coolship Red and it will remain a spontaneously-fermented blend that is aged on local raspberries. The beer uses aged whole-leaf hops and it is aged in oak wine barrels for over 2-years without raspberries and 4 to 5 months with raspberries. Look for Coolship Red to roll in at 6.2%-AbV and you’re looking at the 375ml bottle. Stay tuned for release info.
