Community has been at the heart of Can'd Aid’s mission from the beginning. In 2013, devastating floods hit Colorado – sending Can’d Aid into high gear both in rebuilding efforts and helping to get local businesses and residents back on their feet.
Shortly thereafter, TOWNS, and the concept of “People Powered Do-Goodery” was born – rooted in the belief that by creating opportunities to give back in communities nationwide, Can'd Aid can shift the way people build and engage with their communities.
Can’d Aid still responds quickly and passionately to help towns across the US rebuild after disasters – from mucking and gutting ravaged homes, to shipping clean canned water where it’s needed most. With the help of Oskar Blues Brewery and Ball Corporation, Can'd Aid has donated over 1.5 million cans of drinking water to date. In fact, due to Hurricanes Florence and Michael, as well as a citywide water boil in Austin, TX - the canning line has been working overtime. Help us ensure water gets to those communities that need it - fast!
