This morning we get to see the 2018 version of Velvet Merkin from Firestone Walker Brewing in Paso Robles, CA. This oatmeal stout is aged in Bourbon barrels before being packaged in 12oz bottles. The 2018 vintage will hit a lower 7.8%-AbV and 21 IBU. According to the packaging, there will be 6700 cases so stay tuned for release info.
