Sierra Nevada Adding NEW Hop Bullet Double IPA Bottles & Cans

Sierra Nevada Adding NEW Hop Bullet Double IPA BottlesThis morning we get our first look at a new spring seasonal release coming from Sierra Nevada Brewing in Chico, CA and Mills River, NC.  This is Hop Bullet and it is a double IPA that features a new “technique”…a double-barreled “slug of Magnum hops and lupulin dust.”  This hop combination is added in the fermenter and the beer clocks in at 8%-AbV.  This is the 12oz bottle (12oz can below) and stay tuned here for release info.Sierra Nevada Adding NEW Hop Bullet Double IPA Bottles & CansimageimageAs a bonus I’ve added in the new packaging for Sierra Nevada Sidecar IPA (6.8%-AbV, 12oz cans & bottles).  This does not carry the same AbV as Sidecar Pale Ale (5.3%-AbV) so this appears to be a new beer and not a rebranding.

It's not a rebrand, but a full-on re-brew / retweak of the recipe. We're moving from a pale ale base, up to an IPA base (6.9%) with the grist and hop bill modeled after the East Meets West IPA in the Beer Camp Across the World pack.
