Today we get our first look at a new beer coming from Flying Dog. This is X-Mas Day IPA and it is the first in a returning series of cookie-pairing holidays brewed to pair with a specific cookie from Baltimore’s Otterbein’s Cookies. This IPA is inspired by Otterbein’s orange white chocolate chip cookies and this 2017 release will hit 6.8%-AbV. This is the 12z bottle and stay tuned to this post as we add the remaining three releases that will make up the variety pack. UPDATE: It looks like the holiday variety pack may not be all about cookies for 2017. I’ve added in Chocolate Milk Stout and it is a beer inspired by Salazon dark chocolate that will hit 6.3%-AbV & Fisher’s Popcorn Caramel Lager a beer ispired by caramel popcorn (6.8%-AbV). We also have Family Drama imperial pilsner and Holiday Tradition (8.4%-AbV). No word on whether this is a holiday pack beer or a stand-alone release so stay tuned.
