This year, we asked a handful of our favorite artists to put their spin on the iconic Nugget Nectar artwork. #1 of 8: Hawk Krall of Philadelphia. “Food-wise, I’m usually looking to draw authentic, iconic and unique things that have a cultural element to them. Doing the Nugget piece fit right in because when I first started dating my fiancé, we would go to this smoky dive in the suburbs. They had great beer, and we spent most of our first dates drinking Nugget. That’s our beer.”
