The brewer not only declined, but asked Dogfish Accelerator to stop using the Dogfish name, and later successfully challenged the company’s attempts to register it at the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Dogfish Head Brewery is “among the most revered brewers of craft beer in the United States” but could face consumer confusion, it claims in its suit filed against Dogfish Accelerator last week.
