Here’s an interesting new beer coming from
Brooklyn Brewery. This is Improved Old Fashioned and it is an ale based on this classic cocktail. This beer is brewed with rye, gentian root and botanicals before being aged in Whistlepig Rye barrels. This is a 750ml bottle and the beer hits 9.7%-AbV. UPDATE 22 Feb 2016: Based on the approved keg label below, I'd say this beer will now hit 12.8%-AbV.
