Smuttynose Director of Brewing Operations David Yarrington told the company two weeks ago he plans to seek opportunities elsewhere, agreeing to finish out the year, brewery spokesman J.T. Thompson said.
Yarrington said this week that he’s hoping to find work in the industry that brings him back closer to the brewing process, as Smuttynose’s expansion has put him more often in meetings than on the production floor where he once was. He said he’s considering work as an industry consultant.
