Warsteiner will import its popular winter specialty beer to the United States for the first time this October.
Known in Germany as Warsteiner Weihnacht, Warsteiner Winter Special Edition captures the rich flavors of the season. Featuring a copper-red amber color and a fine-poured creamy head, WARSTEINER Winter Special Edition delivers a full-bodied, satisfying malty taste sensation masterfully balanced with a subtle hoppy bitterness.
“Warsteiner Winter Special Edition is a true indulgence perfect for celebrating a special occasion or a week well done,” said Laura Sprengard, brand manager for Warsteiner USA. “We’re excited to give our fans a new flavor to experience and savor.”
Like all Warsteiner products, Warsteiner Winter Special Edition is brewed in Germany in accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516 with fresh Arnsberg Forest spring water, a special combination of bitter and aromatic Hallertau hops and top-quality brewing barley from well-known German producing regions and Champagne. Warsteiner also has an exclusive bottom-fermenting yeast strain for its wort.
Warsteiner Winter Special Edition is 5.6 percent alcohol by volume and will be available at retail locations in 6-pack bottles and 50-litre kegs until supplies run out.
