Three Canned Beers Coming To Shawnee Craft Brewing

Three different craft beer varieties, including Aparias, Bierre Blanche and Session IPA in 8,000 cans will be presented to Taproom visitors in celebration of American Craft Beer Week that runs May 11 to 17. River City Cannery of Laurel, Md., a mobile cannery, brought its equipment to Shawnee to can the beer there.

The canned beer will be sold strictly on the grounds of the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort and at the Tap Room but ShawneeCraft Brewery General Manager Jason Startari said it may follow the lead of ShawneeCraft bottled beer that has sold well in recent years in the eastern part of the state, including the Philadelphia area.
