Here’s your very first peek at a new beer coming from Anchor Brewing in 2015. This is Anchor Brewing Summer Wheat and this is NOT their previous Summer Beer. Look for Anchor Summer Wheat to be packaged in 12oz cans and bottles as well as 22oz bottles (below). This beer will use wheat and barley malt as well as Northern Brewer and Goldings hops and I will come in at 5% ABV. Anchor Summer Wheat commemorates the 1984 brewing of America’s first craft-brewed wheat ale by Anchor and I’m excited to see this new version. Stay tuned for release details.
