And so it was with Smokestack, the name that McLean has chosen for the barbecue restaurant alongside his big new brewery in an industrial Dogpatch building.
That’s not the only bit of news coming from the corner of Third and 22nd. As noted a few weeks back, brewing is underway there. Today, they kegged the first batch from the new brewery, and will tap it at the Haight Street Magnolia at 5pm. Appropriately, the beer is titled “Maiden Voyage.”
