imageAnheuser-Busch & Bud Light Lime have apparently heard the consumer cry as today they prepare to release new versions of their popular Straw-Ber-Rita and Lim-a-Rita in NEW lower ABV and lower CALORIE version.  These new version will be packaged in 8oz and 25oz packaging and in addition to the original 8% ABV versions, you will now have the option of a lower 6% ABV version.  For those asking, here are the calorie breakdowns: 

Lime-A-Rita 8% ABV 8oz can (220 Calories),
Lime-A-Rita 6% ABV 8oz can (165 calories),
Lime-A-Rita 8% ABV 25oz (330 calories per 12oz serving--687.5 calories per 25oz serving),
Lime-A-Rita 6% ABV 25oz (247 calories per 12oz serving - 514.5 calories per 25oz serving

Straw-Ber-Rita 8% ABV 8z can (199 calories)
Straw-Ber-Rita 6% ABV 8oz can (149 calories)
Straw-Ber-Rita 8% ABV 25oz can (297 per 12oz serving - 618.7 per 25oz serving)
