Here’s your first peek at the 2013 Reserve version of Deschutes The Abyss Imperial Stout. The Abyss is brewed with black strap molasses, licorice as well as cherry bark & vanilla. 6% of this beer is age din oak bourbon barrels, 11% is aged in oak barrels, and 11% aged in oak wine barrels. The Abyss 2013 Reserve will be packaged in 22oz bottles and come in at 11% ABV.
