We brought you the news of this new series of Ballast Point Home Brew Mart beers called Homework Series….and now today we get to see the approved label. Originally Batch # 1 was named India Red Ale, however the official label seems to have been approved as Hoppy Red Ale. This beer uses a Colby Chandler recipe and it was brewed in a 13-gallon batch. The recipe is on the label, it will be package din 22oz bottles and come in at 7% ABV.

Batch #1 of the Homework Series is now available on draft at both of our San Diego tasting bars....the beer that specialty brewer Colby made for his wedding...bottles will be out in a month
