Here’s an interesting new label coming from Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project as part of their Once Upon a Time Series of beers. 1939 No. 1 Ale is a recreation of a beer first brewed in Edinburgh in 1939. This beer as well as the others in the series are recreated from handwritten historical brewing logs in collaboration with historian Ron Pattinson of Amsterdam. This is the first release based on a Scottish recipe, it will be packaged in 22oz bottles and come in at 6.7% ABV.
