Mike’s Hard Lemonade & Lager Authentic Shandy

Today we have an interesting new malt beverage from Mike’s Hard Lemonade called Mike’s Hard Lemonade & Lager Authentic Shandy.  It is an interesting “mix” to see the word “lager” on the label as well this serving as further testimony to the popularity of Shandy style and fruit / beer blended beverages.  This “beer” will be packaged in 11.2oz bottles and come in at 4.2% ABV.

    Just tried one, a little too sweet got my taste. I like Leinenkugels Summer Shandy but the liquor store didn't have any. Thought this might be a good substitute. But it doesn't have a clean refreshing taste. It comes across syrupy.

    I like Mike's Shandy. It has more of a lemonade taste than Leinie's Summer Shandy. I always mix Summer Shandy and Berry Weiss ... 50/50. Got hooked on it at the Leinie's Lodge . They call it Pink Lemonade.
