Here are four new labels coming from the Duvel family of fine Belgian ales….N’Ice Chouffe, Mc Chouffe, La Chouffe & Houblon Chouffe Belgian Ales. N’Ice Chouffe Donker Winter Beer is a limited edition ale brewed with thyme & curacao peel that will be packaged in 750ml bottles and come in at a big 10% ABV. This beer is brewed once a year and uses “a lot of dark candy sugar.” The backing label claims the scene depicted on the front of the bottle features a typical winter vista in the village of Achouffe with the chapel of St. Joseph and the brewery in the background. (Checking my glasses now.) Mc Chouffe is a Belgian brown ale that will also be packaged in 750ml bottles. Mc Chouffe comes in at 8% ABV and is a combination Scottish Ale & Abbey Ale. La Chouffe will be packaged in 750ml and 11.2oz bottles and it is also 8% ABV. La Chouffe is a Belgian golden ale brewed with coriander. Houblon Chouffe is a Belgian tripel that will be packaged in 750ml and 11.2oz bottles and come in at 9% ABV.
