Brooklyn Oktoberfest

It’s such a simple title….but why not…it descries the beer perfectly and it displays the heritage perfectly too….today we have Brooklyn Oktoberfest.  It’s a keg-only label and it’s brewed @ Post Road.

    There is no "Post Road" brewery in Utica, NY. Post Road was a MA-based contract-brewed brand Brooklyn bought in the mid-1990's (the only remnant left being their Pumpkin Ale besides using it as a "dba", apparently).

    Brooklyn's contract-brewing partner has been F. X. Matt in Utica, NY since the company was founded in 1988.
