Here’s a marketing risk from Coronado Brewing Co….calling your beer “Stupid Stout.” In the end I suspect the 10% ABV will leave you feeling a little less than smart. Stupid Stout will be packaged in 22oz bottles and is part of Coronado’s Crown Series of beers.
This beer was approved today, however it’s important to note that this is a replacement label for “Stoopid Stout” now that Lagunitas has trademarked “Stoopid.” An interesting twist considering Coronado sued Elysian over the word “Idiot” on labels. Story here.
