I always hate hearing (and reporting) this sort of news, but an employee of Redhook in Portsmouth, NH was injured when a keg exploded at the brewery 7AM this morning. The man was apparently cleaning & pressurizing kegs when one failed and exploded. The pieces did strike the man in the head & chest and he was taken to Portsmouth Hospital in cardiac arrest. Stay tuned for further details.
Update (12:30PM EST)…I’m sad to report that seacoast on-line is reporting the worked from Redhook did not survive his injuries.
