8-years is not enough….but a judge in Juneau Alaska did sentence a man who stole a truck (in April 2011) and rammed it into Alaskan Brewing Co in an attempt to steal beer; to 8-years in jail. In the end Darwinian-nominee Michael Rae did $15K damage to the truck & building and stole a total of $350 in beer. Now granted Alaskan Brewing beer is wonderful stuff, but perhaps he should have just bought some. Full story here.
