Courtesy of Cigar City’s Facebook page comes news of a new beer called Jean Ribault French Pale Ale pouring at their taproom today. Details from Cigar City:
Introducing Jean Ribault, a French Pale Ale. This beer was fermented with a French biere de garde yeast, adding a unique spicy quality on top of a pale ale base. Calypso and Nelson Sauvin hops were used, evoking notes of Golden Delicious apples and white grape. Clocking in at 6%, this is one of our more sessionable hoppy ales. Look for it on draft near you soon, or just come to the tasting room and drink some today!
