The World Beer Awards in the UK has named Weihenstephan Vitus as the 2011 “World’s Best Beer.” Vitus won three different style categories (Worlds Best Wheat, Worlds Best Strong Wheat & Europe’s Best Strong Wheat) and subsequently the overall win. Vitus is a 7.7% ABV Weizenbock.
