We followed Portsmouth Brewery Kate The Great Day 2012 from beginning to end…so I thought you’d want to see where the proceeds from Kate the Great day went. This from Portsmouth:
The Center for Wildlife of Cape Neddick, Maine; Great Works Regional Land Trust of Ogunquit, Maine; and Sexual Assault Support Services and 3S ArtSpace, both of Portsmouth, will each receive $5,000, while the Southeast Land Trust of Exeter will receive $10,000. Four of this year's recipients were determined by a vote of the brewery's staff. The funds were raised through a scratch ticket lottery for chances to buy 2,000 bottles of "Kate the Great.” Beer enthusiasts purchased 15,000 tickets in about 20 hours.
