Apparently Nike decided to name a new sneaker coming out this weekend (St Patrick’s Day) Black & Tan…not realizing that name is also associated with the British mistreatment of the Irish in the 1920s. Nike is backtracking and apologizing, saying the name was “unofficial.” More here from canada.com.
