The headline says it all….while Budweiser is the title sponsor of the FIFA 2014 World Cup of Soccer, it is being held in Rio de Janeiro Brazil, a country that bans the sale & consumption of alcohol in almost every stadium playing host to the tournament. Apparently this is a deal-breaking issue for FIFA, and while promises were made t lift the ban, there is still considerable resistance from legislators. More details here.
