Here’s your first look at the NEW packaging for Karl Strauss Islands Golden Ale 22oz bottles.  This brew is created especially for the Islands restaurant chain in California.  This 5.6% ABV brew was previously draft-only so it should be interesting to see where the bottles are sold.  It’s my understanding this is a light Belgian-style/american pale ale.

    so far I've not seen reports of anywhere on the east coast and very few places on the west coast. Where do you live?

    I called Karl Strauss and they said that they would not be bottling this, unless Islands permitted it. I have not seen bottles of it anywhere, and I live in Orange County, CA. :(

    Thanks fo rthe info. Perhaps the label is just a placeholder should they decide to bottle in the future.
