Southampton’s Phil Markowski Moving to Two Roads Brewing 4/16

Two Roads Brewing (Stratford, CT) was started by a former Pabst exec, and now it looks like Phil Markowski from Southampton Publick House (Long Island, NY & long-time contract brew @ Lion Brewery) will be joining the team @ Two Roads (and perhaps continuing @ Southampton too).  Looks like they will be doing predominantly contract brewing (something Phil may be familiar with).  Details coming in fast and furious…so stay tuned.

    Southampton moved their contract brews out of The Lion and into City's Latrobe brewery back in 2009. (A good article, complete with some Hittle of Two Roads content at http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m3469/is_32_60/ai_n39290783/ ).

    Since then, they've moved again, back to Mendocino's Saratoga Springs' facility in NY state, after Southampton ended their connection to the Pabst network.
