Here’s an interesting new keg-only beer from our pals at Victory Brewing. I believe this “Ale Brewed with Spices” is actually an American Wheat style ale that is the house beer at the Jose Garces restaurants in Philadelphia, but stay tuned for further details.
As a bonus I thought you’d want to hear the news that Victory is now making Ice Cream using the unfermented and un-hopped wort they use in the beer making process. Look for flavors like Triple Monkey Banana Ice cream (with nuts & caramel), Hopped Up Devil cayenne & cinnamon ice cream (with chocolate covered coffee beans) and Storm King Crunch chocolate ice cream (with chocolate malted milk balls).
Where does one get their ice cream? Will it only be available at the brewery?
ReplyDeleteSo far it's only at the brewpub from what I understand. They read more like a menu item than a simple flavor they can distribute and sell elsewhere.
